What does Sparkol do?
Sparkol are the amazing team behind the award winning VideoScribe software which enables users of any ability (and even zero artistic flair) to make super-cool whiteboard animation style videos. With access to over 5 million images which you can drag and drop onto your project then add text, voiceover and an audio track and watch your creation be drawn out in front of you.
VideoScribe has passionate users across the globe. We sell directly to over 180 countries and our users range from start-ups to educators to corporates to enormous government bodies.
What are your plans for 2024?
We spent the last couple of years building a cloud based version of VideoScribe which opens the doors to collaboration and integrations as well as the word on everyone’s lips at the moment - AI. It’s going to be an exciting year for us.
What’s been the best thing about working from DeskLodge?
We love the buzzy, friendly feel. There’s always someone interesting and amazing to talk to as we make a coffee or snaffle the sweeties on a Friday afternoon. Working from Desklodge also helps us to feel better connected to the thriving Bristol tech community. We moved into 1 Temple Way back in 2016 and instantly felt at home. As we grew we thought it may be time to embrace our own dedicated office space but we never fully felt the love, so when our lease came up for renewal we jumped back on board and are happily installed in Desklodge House.
