Hear our DeskLodge Team’s goals for 2024

New Year is the perfect time to make plans and set goals. For some that means exercising a little more. For others it’s all about travelling. What about aiming for a better work/life balance? Or even getting to grips with the ancient art of Tai Chi? Whatever you have in mind, January 1st is the date it all begins! It’s exactly the same here at DeskLodge. Some of our awesome team wanted to share what they’re hoping to achieve in 2024.

Sabrina

Sabrina (Assistant Workspace Manager, DeskLodge House)

My main goal for this year is to not sweat the small stuff – to know that it’s okay to not get everything right first time and that we all make mistakes every once in a while. The main thing is that we learn from them, and in that we better ourselves for upcoming challenges.

Bryony

Bryony (Lodge Host, DeskLodge House)

My two major goals for 2024 are to get a stronger body after a knee injury a few years ago, and to go on as many adventures across the UK as I can!

Tom

Tom (Founder, DeskLodge)

Work: Lots of little improvements, specially at DeskLodge House.

Personal: Run more, see friends more, and try to switch off when I’m not working!

Jamie

Jamie (Managing Director, DeskLodge)

Personal goals - Run a minimum of 100k a month. Have a sunny holiday in Turkey with the family.

Work goals – Get Beacon Tower roof terrace ready for summer. Workspaces full of amazing teams and people.

Stacey

Stacey (Workspace Manager, DeskLodge House)

To make sure I continue to look after myself, physically, emotionally, and mentally. Make more memories with my friends and family. Work wise, making sure I do the best I can in all aspects of my role and continue to support the team.

Gems

Gems (Community & Content Manager, DeskLodge)

After a rollercoaster of a 2023 with major surgery and medical leave, I’m looking forward to having more time at both DeskLodges to meet our new members and create loads of great events to bring the community together! Personally, building my strength back up and getting in great shape ready for my sister’s wedding this summer.

Wow, what a brilliant set of goals and aims. And Jamie, 100k in a month? Pretty impressive stuff. By the end of the year you’ll be in Spain!
