The Travelling Glutton

The Travelling Glutton is a local food van serving good quality food that stays true to the recipes learnt from their travels around the world.
Based outside Network House in Basing View, The Travelling Glutton can be found serving up mouth watering treats every Wednesday from 12pm – 2pm.

Kokoro
Distance from DeskLodge Basingstoke: 15 min walk
Based in Festival Place in the town centre (opposite Iceland) Kokoro serve up generous portions of sushi and Far East delights at great value for money. The friendly staff are happy to help you making that very important decision on what to eat!
Our favourites include, katsu curry with rice, teriyaki chicken with noodles, salmon sushi and sweet chilli chicken with noodles! Also available on Deliveroo.
Waitrose Café
Distance from DeskLodge Basingstoke; 10 min walk
Just up the road in Basing View the local Waitrose and its café is very convenient for lunchtime food to-go and sushi, with a hot deli, the in-store café and even a wine bar, all on our doorstep!

Hartley’s Kitchen
Distance from DeskLodge Basingstoke; located in the same building as DeskLodge!
Conveniently located opposite the DeskLodge reception, Hartley’s Kitchen is a small café within Belvedere House that serves a range of breakfast and lunch items to both residents and to local Basing View businesses.
Our favourites include the daily street food, jacket potatoes and paninis!
