Zoe likes to keep active by mountain biking, running and skiing and is a busy mum of two!
What is your Job title?
I’m CEO now but originally joined the company as Operations Director back in 2014.
What do Sparkol do?
Sparkol is a software company that creates engaging tools for businesses and education to present and share ideas quickly and easily, regardless of budget or design skills. VideoScribe is a whiteboard animation tool to create hand-drawn explainer videos and StoryPix enables you to create a short explainer video from a single static image.
We also have a creative services team who make explainer videos for businesses who don’t have the time or resource to make their own.
How long have you been at DeskLodge?
We moved here in December 2015, only intending to stay for 6 months!
What’s your favourite thing about your job?
That’s a hard one. There are so many great things about being part of Sparkol. I love that we are based in Bristol but have a truly global reach, selling to over 160 countries; that no day is ever the same; that changes we make today can have an immediate impact with instant results; and the people of course, but that goes without saying.
What is your favourite thing about DeskLodge?
It’s a great, fun space full of interesting, driven people and you never know who you will meet at the coffee machine!
What do you do in your spare time?
Ideally something active; mountain biking, running, skiing, walking.... I have two kids, two springer spaniels and a busy husband so there is a constant juggle to squeeze everything in.
Have you made any new year resolutions?
I need to work exercise into my routine to give me the clarity, focus and enough headspace to do all the amazing things we have lined up for 2019.
