Inspired by our Top 10 Productivity Apps for 2019 blog post, Bridge24, a tech company who have developed a time saving tool that works alongside other productivity apps (including Trello and Asana) wanted to collaborate with DeskLodge on a tried and tested review.
We were so impressed with the entries for our Great DeskLodge Bake Off which saw DeskLodgers bringing in their culinary baked masterpieces to raise money for Bristol Giving Day
What makes Bristol such an incredible place to live and a city to completely fall in love with is the amazing sense of community, the unassuming kindness and the huge buzz of independent shops, restaurants, bars & cafes that reside here.
Co-working isn’t just about shared space, free wifi and coffee, it’s also about creating a community: a mix of like-minded people who can inspire each other and make newbies feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they arrive.
You start with a space and you look at it like a blank canvas, you know you need basic amenities kitchen areas, desks and chairs, but beyond this you consider what you want to achieve, and what spaces/experiences you want to add, from open plan coworking spaces, break out areas and offices, a few meeting rooms and phone booths perhaps? Then the creativity begins.
DeskLodge House has been open a full year in February and we are so excited to have filled every single floor with lots of lovely DeskLodgers! To celebrate we are going to look at how this amazing six floors of inspiring spaces were created and explain a little about the inspiration behind it!
DeskLodge is based on Bristol’s busy Temple way, right next to Bristol’s newest creative quarter, Old Market, which is full of independent cafes, bars, music venues and art spaces.
Catching up with our DeskLodge Team has never been so important to us! It has been such a strange time for everyone but also a time to reflect on what’s really important.
