I’ve had a longstanding interest in software development and I find the higher education sector interesting to work with. Support and Testing is often challenging involving a lot of problem solving which I enjoy.
The most surprising thing can be the variance between each institution. While you can see the same issue or query multiple times the answer could be different institution to institution.
I am currently moving from my Support and Testing role into a Software Developer. My current goal is to continue to improve my web development skills and knowledge within my new role.
Desklodge is always clean and things are fixed quickly. The staff are always friendly and helpful with any and all queries. Its also an interesting environment to work in where I am still noticing new things after months of working here.
While I can work Hybrid I usually in the office every day.
