It’s time to raise a chosen DeskLodger up onto our shoulders and parade them through Bristol! Meet Camille Crouzet, HR and Communications Coordinator at Kury UK. When it comes to delivering safe and beautifully designed nuclear power plants, Kury UK is where you go. We asked Camille where she finds the best people to employ, how she stays motivated and what she gets up to in her spare time.
What do you/your company do?
I’m working as HR and Communications Coordinator at Kury UK, an international and human-sized company dedicated to the nuclear field. We are involved in several nuclear projects and support in delivering nuclear power plants in the UK in two main technical sectors – safety and design. I’m in charge of finding the best talents to join our team ! I also ensure the external communication – by working on our brand identity and development – and internal communication – by making people part of our community.
What is the best thing about your job?
I just love the social part of my job! Being in contact with people everyday, exchanging, making sure people are feeling in the right place, ect. I’m also a very creative person, I have lots of ideas so I really like the fact I can express my creativity into my job!
How do you stay motivated and productive?
I’ve got a lot of energy which I need to give somewhere and I find that my job gives me the opportunity to put this energy into something real. Fore sure, I also love the environment where I’m working: I’m going to a nice office everyday where people are so friendly and I have the chance to have an amazing team! 😊
Where is your favourite place to work at DeskLodge?
I’m working on the third floor where I feel so great: the place is so colorful, there’s a lot of space, I can choose to work with nice music or not, coffee and tea are unlimited… It definitely doesn’t feel I’m actually working at DeskLodge! I also love the concept of the Hobbit office: a really chill and calm space where you feel as a hobbit inside!
What's the most valuable piece of advice you've been given in work/business?
Making people feeling great and safe in their work environment: it’s the way for people to give the best of themselves and for the company to make people staying and be part of the business.
What do you do in your spare time?
I love hiking, biking, running… I’m from the French Alps so I enjoy so much being in the mountains and outdoor. I love socializing, going to some activities and I’m quite creative so I love drawing or taking pictures.
